Double Nickel 55 is a naturally-occurring rhizobacterium Bacillus amyloliquefaciens strain D747. As a broad spectrum biofungicide, Double Nickel 55 has 5 modes of action for control or suppression of fungal and bacterial plant diseases: anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, growth promotion, plant triggering, and competitive exclusion. Double Nickel is most effective as a preventative, with the bacteria colonizing roots, leaves, and other plant surfaces preventing the establishment of disease-causing fungi and bacteria.
