Overview

Bokashi is a naturally fermented product made by fermenting EM-1 Microbial Inoculant with Organic Rice Bran. It is primarily used in fermenting food waste, but can be used as an additive to soil, kitty litter, or compost bins.

  • Directions / Rates

    For compost applications, sprinkle Bokashi on food waste after additions to composts piles; generally about 1 pound per 5 gallon bucket. For soil applications, apply 1 pound to 100 sq ft or at 2% of potting mixes. For kitty litter, add 2 cups to fresh litter and 1 cup weekly between changes.
