Overview
XenTari BT DF (Bacillus thuringiensis aizawai (Bta) strain ABTS-1857 (54%)) is a biological insecticide used against listed caterpillars (larvae) of lepidopterous insects. Some studies have shown Bt aizawai to be measurably more effective than Bt kurstaki against some pests, including corn earworms.
After ingestion of spores and toxins, the pest stops eating within an hour and dies within a couple of days. Dipel is harmless to beneficial insects, animals, and humans.
