Overview
Javelin (Bacillus thuringiensis subspecies kurstaki (Btk) strain SA-11 (85%) is more cost-effective than Dipel. One bite and they lose their appetite. Bt kills leaf-eating caterpillars of lepidopteran moths. Slow acting but effective, they stop eating within a few hours of ingestion and die in two days. The Bt subspecies kurstaki paralyzes their digestive system and are harmless to beneficial insects, animals and humans.
